Brineys Coffee House in Gaddyduff, Clonmany, sits quietly along Main Street, looking quite unassuming from the outside. But step inside and you’ll discover a welcoming spot where locals and travelers alike pause to recharge. The atmosphere feels casual and spacious, with plenty of room to settle in whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or lingering over a snack.

The coffee here is a solid draw, paired with generously portioned snacks that lean more towards full meals—perfect for anyone exploring the Wild Atlantic Way and needing a proper bite without fuss. On busier days, you might find a friendly face behind the bar managing orders solo, which adds a personal touch to the service. Staff are approachable and put genuine effort into making guests feel at ease, though some visitors have noticed mixed approaches to health precautions.

If you’re passing through mid-morning or noon, it’s a good spot to break your drive with a filling order—especially if you’re after something heartier like their well-known Monster Fry. There’s also a bar and lounge area, offering an option to unwind beyond the usual cafe experience, making it a versatile stop whether you’re here for coffee, food, or a relaxed local hangout.

Brineys draws a blend of regular customers and visitors, which gives it a grounded, community feel without being too busy or cramped. Ideal for anyone traveling the north Donegal coast who appreciates straightforward, fresh food alongside reliably good coffee without the pretension.

Do not be fooled by the exterior of this place. Stopped in whilst driving the wild Atlantic way. Really nice atmosphere in this place which was immediately apparent as soon as you walk in. There was only one girl behind the bar who was extremely friendly. We ordered 3 snacks (well snacks on the menu, more like meals) and have to say that it was amazing. Very tasty and very fresh. Great value also. All in all a perfect find. Mark it for a visit if you're doing the wild Atlantic Way.

Good sandwiches and coffee but pity the staff weren't wearing masks or enforcing their use.
